  1. Quinoa Lemon Pulihora

    Ingredients:

     Quinoa 1 cup
     Water 1 cup
     1/4 cup lemon juice or juice from 1 lemon or 2 limes
     Green chilies 3 cut in to pieces
     Grated carrot 1/4  cup ( optional)
     Finely chopped cilantro 1/4 cup ( optional)
    Coarsly crushed dry roasted almonds 1/4 cup
     Salt to taste
     Turmeric 1/4 tsp.
     Oil 2 tbsp.
     To tamper ( 1/4 tsp. Mustard seeds , 1 red chili pieces , Urad dal 1 tbsp. , Channa dal 1tsp. , curry leaves 10)

  2. Quinoa Tamarind Pulihora

    Ingredients:

    1.     Quinoa – 1 Cup
    2.     Tamarind –  Small lemon size
    3.     Oil – 1 Tbsp
    4.     Mustered Seeds – 1 tsp
    5.     Dry red chilli – 2
    6.     Chana dal – 1 Tbsp
    7.     Urad dal – 1 tsp
    8.     Peanuts – 1 Tbsp
    9.     Green chillies- 2 (slit them to half vertically)
    10.  Curry leaves – 10
    11.  Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
    12.  Jeera – Methi Powder – 1/4 tsp
    13.  Salt – 3/4 tsp
    14.  Jaggery- 1/2 tsp

  3. Quinoa upma

    Ingredients:

    ·1/2 cup quinoa ·     
     
    1 cup water
    ·     
     
    11/2 tsp. oil or ghee
    ·      
     
    1/4 tsp mustard
    ·   
     
    1/2 tsp cumin
    ·      
     
    pinch of hing
    ·      
     
    1 tsp. urad dal
    ·      
     
    1 tsp. channa dal
    ·        
      
    few finely chopped ginger pieces (optional)
    ·        
     
    1 sprig curry leaves
    ·      
     
    salt as needed
    ·      
     
    1 green chili slit
    ·        
     
    1/2 to 3/4 cup chopped mixed vegetable (onion, carrots, peas, beans, capsicum)
